School Council
**Update**
At Ferney Lee, our School Council plays a vital role in making sure the children have a voice in decisions that are made. We are excited to have joined up with SMART SCHOOL COUNCILS to help us improve things in school and to hear everyone's views, ideas and opinions.
We will have a COMMUNICATION TEAM who will help to collect views, organise events and keep everyone in the know! These school councillors are elected into the role by their peers.
Meetings will be held regularly, with Mrs. Dobson, and then feedback and questions opened up in
class meetings.
ACTION TEAMS will be created to 'get things done!' and may last for a day or longer depending on the task.
The Smart School Council Comms Team Campaign
Following the successful DEMOCRATIC recruitment process of our last years councillors, we will once again shortly be opening up the application round for anyone interested in becoming a part of the Comms Team.
From there our applicants will be invited to make a video explaining why they should be chosen to take up one of 10 places on the COMMS TEAM.
A secret ballot will be held and the votes counted.

Comic Relief 2023
This year we raised an amazing £224 for Comic Relief by dressing up in non-uniform. Well done to everyone who got involved and to Mrs Dobson for organising it all!
