Support for families

There may be times when families need some extra support or help.

Please remember that we have an 'open door' policy and Mrs Whittem, our Safeguarding Lead, Miss Marta, Pastoral Lead are available to meet with you to discuss your concerns, offer help and signpost you to other agencies.

Support in the area over the Summer Holidays: 

FOOD BANKS:

Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge and Luddenden Foot.

• Mondays from 10am to 12 noon at Kershaw Drive Community Centre, Station Road, Luddenden Foot. HX2 6AD.
• Wednesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am at Valley Road Surgery, Hebden Bridge. HX7 7BZ.
• Thursdays from 12.30pm to 4pm at Dodnaze Community Centre.
• Saturdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm at St. Michael's Parish Church, Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge. HX7 5DU.

Family Support Book-in: Make an appointment to speak to a Family Support Worker for confidential support and advice on family issues. Book-Ins are held, face to face at the hubs,

Healthy Holidays:

In school holidays, children and young people can access holiday clubs through our Healthy Holidays Calderdale programme. Please see: Who is eligible.

This is provided as part of the Government's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. The free places are funded by the Department for Education (DfE).

Summer 2026 Programme

This will run from 18th July to 28th August.
